- Boost Mobile’s IM2Cell Enables Desktop PC to Boost Phone Instant Messaging
IRVINE, CA – Boost Mobile® customers now have another way to keep in touch with desktop Instant Messaging (IM) users with IM2Cell. The new service enables anyone to send an instant message directly to a Boost Mobile phone via AOL®, MSN® or Yahoo!® instant messaging services. Anyone using AOL®, MSN® or Yahoo!® instant messaging services on their PC can now have an online chat session with Boost Mobile customers when they send an IM to a Boost™ phone which will appear as a text message. Boost customers can quickly and easily return the IM via text message.

IM2Cell is available on all Boost Mobile handsets for the standard text messaging rate of 10 cents per outgoing text message sent and incoming text messages received are free.
