Boost Mobile Pay-As-You-Go wireless phones from $49.99 to $199.99, Starter Kits ($19.99) and Re-BoostTM cards ($20, $30, and $50 denominations) are now available at locations throughout Nextel Partners markets, including Wal-Mart, Meijer, Best Buy and Sprint retail stores.

Unlike traditional wireless carriers that attempt to attract all types of customers, Boost Mobile focuses exclusively on the 14 to 24 age demographic. As a result, Boost has attracted a unique customer base, the majority of which is age 25 and younger, which can be credited to the company’s youth-centric marketing, sales distribution approach and product offering.

“We’ve already added more than a million customers this year, starting 2006 with 2.6 million customers and ending the third quarter with more than 3.8 million customers,” said Don Girskis, general manager, Boost Mobile. “The youth market is grossly under penetrated compared to the national average and will drive future growth for years to come. Our expansion into mid-sized and rural markets will enable more young people to choose Boost and help continue to drive our record performance.”

Boost Mobile is the only wireless service to offer any true service differentiation by making Nextel’s Nationwide Direct ConnectSM service available as a Pay-As-You-Go feature, enabling today’s youth to communicate on their terms, instantly. Available on all Boost Mobile phones, Boost Walkie-Talkie is the first and only national Pay-As-You-Go, long-range digital walkie-talkie service that allows instant, unlimited communication anywhere on Nextel’s network. By pressing the Boost Walkie-Talkie button on the side of a Boost Mobile phone, customers can instantly connect with other Boost, Nextel and Nextel Partners’ subscribers. Boost Walkie-Talkie is a dollar a day for unlimited nationwide use and the charge applies only when the service is used.

Boost Mobile Pay-As-You-Go pricing aims to provide maximum value to youth customers by offering competitive peak and off-peak (Boost Time) rates that meet their lifestyle needs. Cellular calls are 20 cents per minute Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and 10 cents per minute after 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and on weekends – long distance calling and roaming are included at no extra charge.Boost customers pay for minutes only as they need them through the purchase of Re-BoostÔ cards. There are no credit checks, hidden charges or monthly bills. Re-Boost cards are also available at national convenience stores in Nextel Partners markets, including 7-Eleven and Circle K.
