BOOST MOBILE LAUNCHES INTERACTIVE WEBSITE DEDICATED TO ARTISTS

- Artist Inspired Website Debuts as SABER, Creator of the World's Largest Street Art Piece, Unveils His Monograph Complete With Stories of His Misadventures -

IRVINE, California - June 18, 2007 - Boost Mobile® today announced the launch of a first-of-its-kind innovative website that provides a forum for up-and-coming and established artists to share their exclusive mobile artwork with a wider audience at www.BoostedMobile.com. Consistent with the artists' individual identities, Boost Mobile collaborated with each artist to develop their dedicated webpage that displays original artwork in the form of mobile wallpapers that are available for purchase on the site or from a Boost Mobile phone, as well as providing an in-depth look into the artists' daily lives, upcoming art shows, events and other news.

Boost Mobile's support of a creative lifestyle, culture and attitude is represented by this unique website as an extension of the brand's commitment to enhancing the youth wireless experience. Artists participating in the www.BoostedMobile.com collaboration include SABER, RETNA and REVOK from the Los Angeles-based 7th Letter Crew, New York's best kept secret and female phenom Claw Money, renowned artist Madsteez (aka Mr. Ween), and under the RVCA Artist Network Program – Kevin Ancell, Kelsey Brookes and George Thompson.

As one of the www.BoostedMobile.com artists, SABER is also releasing his latest book project entitled SABER: Mad Society, which is a 168-page, soft bound, 8.5" x 11" book available this August for $29.99. In SABER: Mad Society, SABER shows the entire scope of his efforts at permanence—from oil paintings on canvas to the largest street art piece in the world. Alongside a wealth of photos, the monograph will come complete with colorful stories of his painting misadventures.

To support the launch of the book, Boost Mobile, R77 and Gingko Press are hosting a solo gallery show entitled SABER: Close Encounters with book signings in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Close Encounters will include a number of SABER's landscape oil paintings and wood sculptures. Each work represents a close encounter the artist has had – whether it's with nightmarish spiders or even UFOs. The exhibit will also house an installation that re-creates the atmosphere of his famous Los Angeles River piece. Scattered across the gallery, light boxes will illuminate some of his x-rays, giving an up-close look at the struggles and pains it took to reach the top.

"This is a unique opportunity for me to reach a new audience who may have never seen a SABER piece before and open them to a new art form," SABER explains. "Boost Mobile has been terrific to work with; their passion for creating opportunities for artists to express themselves is an inspiration."

Another group show with SABER, RETNA and REVOK will take place in New York following the solo show. The three artists also plan on touring the country and painting public murals and walls in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia and Atlanta. For a complete list of art shows, book signings and wall paintings, visit www.BoostedMobile.com.

About SABER
For over 15 years SABER has used the urban landscape as a monumental canvas influencing local street art styles the world over. In 1997, SABER painted the world's largest street art piece on the cement banks of the Los Angeles River. Measuring 250' x 55' and using 125 gallons of latex roller paint, this massive expression of raw street power is considered one of the most important pieces in street art history. Prolific and diverse, SABER's work extends beyond his street art by catching the attention of the fine art world with his hyper real oil paintings of cityscapes. SABER is also noted for his ability to translate his work into three-dimensional sculptures collected by art aficionados and those that are part of the urban culture scene. SABER's work has contributed to the advancement of contemporary street art as a legitimate art form extending its reach far beyond its primary roots. For more information, visit www.saberone.com.
