You can access your voicemail by touching Phone in the favorites tray by default, and then touching and holding the number 1.
To set up speed dials on your Samsung Galaxy Prevail 2, touch Phone at the bottom of the home screen. Then touch Menu > Speed dial setting. Touch one of the 99 speed dial locations in the list and select a contact.
To easily add a widget to a home screen, touch the Apps icon and then touch the Widgets tab at the top of the screen. Touch and hold an available widget icon. Position the widget on the screen, then release it to add it to the home screen.
Blocking mode lets you disable incoming calls (except for those on the allowed list), notifications and alarms. To use the blocking mode feature, from the home screen, touch Menu > Settings > Blocking mode. Touch the slider to turn blocking mode on. Place a check mark next to the features you would like to disable. When the feature is on, a green check mark will appear. Choose from Disable incoming calls, Disable notifications, Disable alarm and timer and Disable LED indicator.
To change the font settings, from the home screen, touch Menu > Settings > Display > Font style or Font size. You can select a font style from Default font, Choco cooky, Cool jazz, Helvetica S or Rosemary. You can also touch Get fonts online to download new fonts from Google Play™ store. You can adjust the font size from tiny up to huge. The huge font size may not be shown in certain applications. In applications that cannot support the huge font size, the large font size will be used instead.
You can capture screenshots by pressing the home key and the power/lock key simultaneously. The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard and saved to the screenshots folder in the gallery.
The notification panel is a great place to quickly access alerts and shortcuts. The notification panel on your Samsung Galaxy Prevail 2 also provides a quick shortcut to your settings menu. Touch the Settings icon. The notification panel is at the top of your screen. It is hidden in the screen but can be accessed by swiping your finger from the top of the screen to the bottom.
