How to Swap your Boost Mobile Phone SIM Card
Want to bring your current phone to Boost? Or, do you have a phone without a SIM Card installed? You’re in the right place to learn how to swap your SIM and activate your phone on Boost!
To install or swap a SIM card in your Boost Mobile phone:

Step 1: Turn Off Your Phone
Keep your phone off until you reach Step 4 of this guide.
Step 2: Locate Your Phone's SIM
Locate the SIM tray on your phone (typically located on the side of the phone or under the battery). If needed, insert a paper clip or a SIM ejector tool into the SIM tray hole. Push gently until the tray ejects.
Step 3: Identify & Insert New SIM
Note how your SIM is sitting in the tray, and then take it out. Locate the SIM card included in the package (pictured below).
Compare the current SIM to the images below to identify which size SIM on the card corresponds to your phone. Pop out the correct size on the SIM card and insert the new SIM into the tray.
WARNING:
It’s important that you pop out the correct SIM, as you cannot pop out a larger size once a smaller size has been removed.
Step 4: Activate Your Phone
On your computer or another mobile device connected to Wi-Fi, click below and follow the on-screen instructions to activate your phone.

Activation Tips
If you are bringing your phone to Boost, make sure you do the following prior to starting the activation process:
1. Ask your current provider to unlock your phone so it is eligible for activation with Boost. (For more info on unlocking, visit boostmobile.com/bring-your-phone)
2. If you want to bring your current number to Boost, you will also need to ask your current provider for your account number and a number transfer PIN. (Also, your account must be active and paid in full to bring your number.) Do not cancel with your current provider until after you activate with Boost.
3. Find your IMEI number: iOS: Settings > General > About Android: Settings > About Phone | or dial *#060#
