How do I make a payment if I have forgotten my account PIN?

If you cannot remember your account PIN:

  • Dial #ADD (#233) from your Boost Mobile phone to make a payment
  • You will not need your account PIN using this method

What taxes and fees might I have to pay when I make a payment?

Some State and Local taxes and fees may apply when adding funds to your Boost account.

What is the minimum and maximum amount of money I can add at a time?

The minimum you can add at any time is $10 and the maximum is $99. Re-Boost Cards are sold in fixed denominations of $20, $30, and $50. Some Re-Boost Cards have an open range where you can add any dollar amount between $10 to $99.

I added enough money in my account to cover the cost of my monthly plan. Why did my payment fail?

Make sure you check for any account activity in My Account. You may have made a purchase that hit your account balance between the time you added your money and the time we attempted to withdraw the payment.

I had enough money in my account to cover my monthly payment (or part of my monthly payment). Why did you charge my credit card for the full plan amount?

If you're set up on Auto Re-BoostSM, the entire cost of your monthly plan is automatically charged to your credit or debit card each month. Any money you have in your account balance can be used for services that aren't covered in your monthly plan, such as ringtone or game purchases, international calls, etc.

Can I add money to a friend/family member's account?

Yes! Go to give a gift. From there you'll need your friend or family member's Boost Mobile® phone number, a credit or debit card and the first and last name associated with the credit or debit card. You can instantly add between $10 to $99 to their account.

Can I transfer my account balance from my Boost account to another account?

No, you cannot transfer your balance from one account to another.

Can I get a refund on my account or my payment?

No. Once purchased is applied to an account, money is not refundable, transferrable or exchangeable and has no surrender value.

Can I make a payment at a Sprint store?

Yes, you can make a payment at a Sprint store. You can also make a payment using automated self-service Payment Kiosks found in select stores.

Why am I getting text messages from BSTFREEMSG about my credit or debit card?

These are free service-related messages from Boost Mobile. We send them to:

  • Inform you about promotional offers
  • Let you know when you have successfully set up Auto Re-BoostSM
  • Remind you of your monthly payment date
  • Confirm an Auto Re-Boost transaction
  • Let you know if your Auto Re-Boost transaction failed due to an issue with your credit or debit card

NOTE: For payment failure notifications, make sure to read through the text message for details about the error. Then call your card or bank provider to fix the problem. After that you will need to re-enroll in Auto Re-Boost via My Account.
