What are the new Stackable Rate Plans?

Who can activate on these plans?

Anyone activating a new line of service on the Expanded Data Network with a compatible device can select these plans.

Existing Boost customers cannot change to the $10, $15, $25 or $35 plan.

These are promotional plans available for a limited time. If a new customer activates on a $10, $15, $25 or $35 Stackable Plan and changes to another plan that’s not a Stackable Plan, they will not be able to change back to any of the Stackable Plans.

Can I build a family plan with these plans?

Yes, you can combine/stack these plans together to create a multi-line family account. You can also combine the $45/mo. $hrink-It! plan with any of the Stackable Plans. There is no discount when adding lines however it allows the primary account holder to make one payment for all family members. Secondary family members are responsible for paying non-recurring additional services.

What does ‘Capped’ data mean?

Once the plan’s allotted data has been depleted, the customer will no longer have the ability to access data. At any time, the customer may purchase data pack add-ons (good for one month) or bolt-ons (recurring feature added to the plan) for $5 for 1GB or $10 for 2GB of high-speed data.

Will I be notified when I’m close to using all my data?

Yes, you will receive a text message when 85% of your data has been consumed. In addition, you will be able to view data usage toward your plan’s allotment on My Account, through the Boost Mobile website or through the My Boost App on your device.

Which plans are eligible for device promotions?

The $35 plan (and higher cost price plans) are eligible for port-in device pricing and BOGO promotions, as well as BoostUP! (once eligibility criteria is met). These plans are not eligible for Add-a-Line device promotions.

While on the $10, $15 and $25 plans, you can bring their own compatible device or purchase Boost Mobile compatible devices for the Suggested Retail Price.

What is the new $hrink-It! Plan?

$45 Unlimited 15GB high speed data, then reduced to 2G speeds Uses plan data

The $hrink-It! plan will allow you to see your monthly payment amount "shrink" by $5 when you make 3 on-time payments, for a total ‘$hrink-It!’ of $10/month after 6 on-time payments.

How does a customer on a $hrink-It! Plan get to a lower MRC?

After you have made three on-time payments, the new MRC will shrink to $40 a month.

Once you makes three additional on-time payments the plan will then move to $35 a month MRC, the lowest monthly plan you can achieve. On-time payments don’t have to be consecutive to qualify as an on-time payment.

The key component is that payments are made on time. If you are late making a payment, it does not qualify as an on-time payment for that bill cycle, but the next on-time payment will count.

For example, if you made two on-time payments in the first two months, made a late payment the third month but made an on-time payment in the fourth month, the MRC will drop in the fifth month.

Can I build a family plan with $hrink-It!? Is the $hrink-It! plan also Stackable?

Yes, they can be combined with other Stackable or $hrink-It! plans to create a multi-line account. The $hrink-It! plan can be the primary or a secondary line. Only the lines within a family/multi-line account that are $hrink-It! plan/s can have their MRC discounted when on-time payment levels are achieved.

$hrink-It! plans that are secondary lines in a family/multi-line account will depend on the primary account making an on-time payment in order for the secondary $hrink-It! lines to receive credit for their on-time payment.

If I switch to another plan but come back to the $hrink-It! plan, do I lose my on-time payment history and/or lower monthly plan cost?

Yes, if you decide to move to a different plan and later come back to the $hrink-It! plan, your on-time payment count will be reset back to zero and the MRC will reset back to $45.

Does the first payment during activation count towards the first three on-time payments?

Yes! Just by activating and paying for your first month of service, you’re already one payment closer to your goal!

What does data ‘Speeds Reduced to 2G’ speeds mean?

The data that comes with each plan’s data allocation performs at the highest speeds available on the network (data speeds vary depending on a variety of factors, including environment, local network coverage, device, etc.). When a plan is reduced to 2G speeds, you will still receive data but your speeds will be reduced which may result in longer download times and degraded streaming capabilities for the remainder of the billing cycle or if a High Speed Data Pack has been applied.

Are taxes still included in these plans?

Yes! The total monthly plan price includes services, taxes, and fees built into the MRC.

Can these plans access 5G data speeds?

The following plans can access 5G data speeds on the Expanded Data Network as long as the customer has a 5G compatible device within a market offering 5G service:

  • $35 for 10GB
  • $45 for 15GB $hrink-It!
  • $50 Unlimited Plan
  • $60 Unlimited Plus Plan
  • Affordable Family Plan

Do these plans offer free streaming music? Is TIDAL offered as a promotional service?

TIDAL is offered as a trial service on select plans. Usage on both TIDAL and other music streaming services will count toward data usage.

Do any of the plans offer HD video streaming?

Yes, Boost Mobile does offer a $60 Unlimited Plus plan that includes unlimited HD streaming.

The Stackable Plans, $hrink-It! and Affordable Family Plan offer video streaming in Standard Definition (SD). Mobile-optimized streaming, or SD, delivers a high-quality experience for mobile devices. Streaming video can be up to 480p+ resolution and music streams at extreme quality up to 500 kbps. Streaming cloud gaming is limited at up to 2 Mbps.

You can add HD Buy Up resolution streaming for only $10 a line per month. With this premium quality mobile streaming experience, you will enjoy:

  • HD-quality streaming videos at up to 1080p+
  • HD music streaming at up to 1.5 Mbps
  • Gaming streams at up to 8 Mbps

Do these plans also offer 50 minutes of domestic voice roaming?

Yes, all plans include 50 minutes of domestic voice roaming on Android devices only.

What happens when I miss my payment? Will my phone services still work?

Yes, if you miss your payment date, you can still receive incoming text messages and incoming domestic voice calls only. Outgoing calls, outgoing text messages and data are blocked.

  • Calls to 911 and Boost Mobile Care (611) are allowed.

Boost Nationwide Legacy Plans

What happens to the existing plans on the Boost Mobile Nationwide Network?

The Promotional Family Plans (3 Lines/$100, 4 Lines/$100 and 4 Lines/$120) are no longer available for new customers. Existing customers on these plans are not impacted. The $30 2GB capped data plan is also no longer available for new activations.

All other plans ($35, $50, and $60) on the legacy Boost Nationwide Network will continue to be available for new and existing customers.

Will the new rate plans also be offered on the Boost Nationwide Network?

No, the new plans are only offered on the Expanded Data Network with compatible devices.

Can customers on the Boost Nationwide Network upgrade to the NEW plans on the Expanded Data Network?

Existing customers on the Boost Nationwide Network who want to upgrade to the Expanded Data Network with a compatible device are able to change their plan to the $50 and $60 Unlimited plans only.

Can I add multiple Data Packs at the same time?

At any time, you may purchase data pack add-ons (good for one month) or bolt-ons (recurring feature added to the plan) for $5 for 1GB or $10 for 2GB of high-speed data.

You may add up to one of each, multiple or all of the following services to your account at the same time but you may not have more than one of the same service on your account at once.

  • $5 1GB one-time add-on (expires in 30 days)
  • $5 1GB recurring bolt-on (tied to the MRC payment date)
  • $10 2GB one-time add-on
  • $10 2GB recurring bolt-on
