BoostTV

boostTV™ is a video streaming service that enables you to watch live and on-demand video content on your Boost Mobile Android smartphone. It requires the boostTV™ app to be installed on your Android smartphone to access free and premium video content.

boostTV™ is available for monthly Boost Mobile smartphone plans that include data services (and compatible devices as detailed below).

The boostTV™ app is available for Boost Mobile Android devices with Android 4.0 and above. It is expected to be made available to Boost Mobile iPhone devices in the near future. Currently, it is not compatible with Windows phones.

Currently, boostTV is only available on select Boost Mobile-branded devices. Therefore the reliability of the boostTV app cannot be guaranteed on any non-Boost brand devices.

The boostTV™ app provides access to free video content. You can also subscribe to the following premium content add-ons:

The boostTV™ app user interface can be configured through the language settings of your phone to be displayed in English or in Spanish.

Subscription to any boostTV™ add-on is the same as for any other monthly plan add-on. If you are a new customer, you can subscribe during the activation process in-store or online at boostmobile.com. If you are an existing customer, you can add the monthly subscription online via My Account (web and smartphone), in store, or by phone. If you have already installed the boostTV™ app on your phone, you can subscribe to any boostTV™ add-on within the app.

You can unsubscribe from any boostTV™ add-on the same way as for any other add-on, via My Account (web and smartphone), in store, or by phone (Boost customer service). You can also unsubscribe within the boostTV™ app.

Yes, your subscription will renew automatically and must be paid in full with your monthly recurring charge at your monthly payment date to continue watching boostTV™ premium content.

No. Each Boost Mobile device must subscribe to a boostTV™ add-on to access corresponding premium content.

The video quality displayed within the boostTV™ app depends on a variety of a factors; in most instances, it will be optimal when you are located in an area with good network coverage (visit boostmobile.com/coverage to check coverage) or, when you connect through a WiFi signal. In those areas, the app launches within a few seconds and you can start watching video content. If you are not under these conditions, picture quality may be affected by a variety of factors such as your location, the bandwidth available through and/or speed of your WiFi/Internet connection.

Yes, watching boostTV™ video content will use your plan's monthly high-speed data allotment unless your phone is connected via WiFi.

After your applicable monthly plan data allotment is reached, access to data continues but data speeds (including video) will be reduced to 2G speeds for the remainder of your plan cycle. Speeds will be restored at the beginning of your next monthly plan cycle. You will still be able to continue watching boostTV™ via WiFi without any limitations. You can upgrade your Boost Mobile plan to get a larger data allotment to continue watching boostTV™ on the go.

We are always looking for ways to improve our products and services for our customers and are currently looking at adding additional compelling packages in Spanish and in English language in the future.

Boost Mobile has acquired rights for streaming free and premium content via boostTV™ in the United States only. To ensure usage in the United States, the boostTV™ app needs to confirm your location. You will not be able to access boostTV™ if your location settings are turned off.
