What is boostTV™?

boostTV™ is a video streaming service that enables you to watch live and on-demand video content on your Boost Mobile Android smartphone. It requires the boostTV™ app to be installed on your Android smartphone to access free and premium video content.

Is boostTV™ available for all Boost Mobile plans?

boostTV™ is available for monthly Boost Mobile smartphone plans that include data services (and compatible devices as detailed below).

Is the boostTV™ app available for all Boost Mobile devices?

The boostTV™ app is available for Boost Mobile Android devices with Android 4.0 and above. It is expected to be made available to Boost Mobile iPhone devices in the near future. Currently, it is not compatible with Windows phones.

Is boostTV compatible with an eligible Sprint phone that has been activated with Boost Mobile?

Currently, boostTV is only available on select Boost Mobile-branded devices. Therefore the reliability of the boostTV app cannot be guaranteed on any non-Boost brand devices.

How much does boostTV™ cost?

The boostTV™ app provides access to free video content. You can also subscribe to the following premium content add-ons:

What are the channels included for free with boostTV™?

Currently, the channels included for free are the following. All channels are in English language except Vevo which includes music video clips in English and Spanish.

Currently, the channels included in the $10 boostTV Live Sports add-on are the following.
All channels are in Spanish language except beIN Sports USA which is in English, and PXTV which is in English and Spanish.

Is the content included in each add-on in English or Spanish language?

The boostTV™ app user interface can be configured through the language settings of your phone to be displayed in English or in Spanish.

How do I subscribe to a boostTV™ add-on?

Subscription to any boostTV™ add-on is the same as for any other monthly plan add-on. If you are a new customer, you can subscribe during the activation process in-store or online at boostmobile.com. If you are an existing customer, you can add the monthly subscription online via My Account (web and smartphone), in store, or by phone. If you have already installed the boostTV™ app on your phone, you can subscribe to any boostTV™ add-on within the app.

How do I unsubscribe from a boostTV™ add-on?

You can unsubscribe from any boostTV™ add-on the same way as for any other add-on, via My Account (web and smartphone), in store, or by phone (Boost customer service). You can also unsubscribe within the boostTV™ app.

Will my boostTV™ add-on subscription renew automatically every month?

Yes, your subscription will renew automatically and must be paid in full with your monthly recurring charge at your monthly payment date to continue watching boostTV™ premium content.

Can more than one device access a unique boostTV™ add-on subscription?

No. Each Boost Mobile device must subscribe to a boostTV™ add-on to access corresponding premium content.

Is the boostTV™ video quality good?

The video quality displayed within the boostTV™ app depends on a variety of a factors; in most instances, it will be optimal when you are located in an area with good network coverage (visit boostmobile.com/coverage to check coverage) or, when you connect through a WiFi signal. In those areas, the app launches within a few seconds and you can start watching video content. If you are not under these conditions, picture quality may be affected by a variety of factors such as your location, the bandwidth available through and/or speed of your WiFi/Internet connection.

Does streaming video via boostTV™ use my Boost Mobile high-speed data allotment?

Yes, watching boostTV™ video content will use your plan's monthly high-speed data allotment unless your phone is connected via WiFi.

What happens when my high-speed data allotment is exhausted? Can I still continue watching boostTV™?

After your applicable monthly plan data allotment is reached, access to data continues but data speeds (including video) will be reduced to 2G speeds for the remainder of your plan cycle. Speeds will be restored at the beginning of your next monthly plan cycle. You will still be able to continue watching boostTV™ via WiFi without any limitations. You can upgrade your Boost Mobile plan to get a larger data allotment to continue watching boostTV™ on the go.

Will you be launching additional boostTV™ premium add-on in the future?

We are always looking for ways to improve our products and services for our customers and are currently looking at adding additional compelling packages in Spanish and in English language in the future.

Why does the boostTV™ app require my location settings to be turned on?

Boost Mobile has acquired rights for streaming free and premium content via boostTV™ in the United States only. To ensure usage in the United States, the boostTV™ app needs to confirm your location. You will not be able to access boostTV™ if your location settings are turned off.

Can I use the boostTV™ app outside the US?

No. Boost Mobile has acquired rights for streaming free and premium content via boostTV™ in the United States only. To ensure usage in the United States, the boostTV™ app requires your location settings to be turned on to verify boostTV™ access.
