What plans are available on the Boost Mobile Nationwide Network?

Boost Mobile’s Unlimited Plans offer something for everyone, whether you’re looking for unlimited data, a single-line plan or a family plan.

$50/mo. Unlimited plan with unlimited data, talk & text includes mobile-optimized streaming videos, gaming & music (video streams at up to 480p+ resolution, music at up to 500kbps, streaming cloud gaming at up to 2mbps), plus unlimited data for most everything else, including 12GB of mobile hotspot (will draw from plan’s high-speed data).

* Mobile Hotspot Usage:

  • Share your phone’s hotspot with other users;
  • Connect a device (such as a laptop or tablet) to the Internet either via Wi-Fi, or a physical connection (such as a USB cable), or an app that enables mobile hotspot service without the purchase of a hotspot plan (i.e., “tethering”);
  • Distribute and share media files (such as books, music and games) with others (i.e., peer-to-peer (P2P) networking technology); and/or
  • Connect to a Virtual Private Network (VPN).

$60/mo. Unlimited Plus plan with unlimited talk & text includes Unlimited Data w/HD video (requires capable device; 35GB of 4G LTE where available), 50 minutes of nationwide domestic roaming (select phones), including up to 30GB of mobile hotspot (will draw from plan’s high-speed data).

Unlimited plan is the ideal single-line plan starting at $35/mo. that offers unlimited data, talk & text, including mobile hotspot (will draw from plan’s high-speed data). After 3GB of high-speed data allotment has been consumed speeds are reduced. Need more high-speed data? Add more high-speed data anytime at 1GB for $5/mo. and 2GB for $10/mo.

Is there a discount when adding lines to create a family plan?

What is AutoPay®?

Once you've registered a credit/debit card on your Boost account, you can set up automatic payments. It's called AutoPay® and it's the easiest way for you to keep your service active.

When is my monthly payment date?

Your monthly payment date is the same day of the month on which you made your first monthly payment. For example, if you paid your first month of service on February 15, then your monthly payment date is the 15th every month (March 15, April 15, etc.) and remains the same as long as you successfully make your monthly payment on-time every month. If your monthly payment date is the 28th, 29th, 30th or 31st of a month then it will always be the same day or the last day of the month.

Can I change my monthly payment date?

No, your monthly payment date remains the same every month as long as you successfully make your monthly payment on-time.

What happens if I miss my monthly payment?

You will be able to receive incoming calls and text messages for a limited time, but you will not be able to make any outgoing calls (except 911/611 calls) or send any text messages, and you will not be able to use any data during this time. This is our way of keeping you connected until you can pay your monthly charge.

What happens when my data speeds are reduced?

After your applicable monthly plan data allotment is reached, access to data continues but data speeds will be reduced for the remainder of your plan cycle. Speeds will be restored at the beginning of your next monthly plan cycle.

What happens if my data speed is reduced and I want to add more high-speed data to my plan?

You have options. You can:

  • Wait until your next monthly payment date to get your high-speed data allotment renewed.
  • Purchase a Data Pack to add extra high-speed data to a monthly plan. Data pack compatibility varies by plan. Learn more about Data Packs or visit My Account to purchase.
  • Use the Restart Plan option and make your full monthly payment early to re-enable all of your services immediately. Visit My Account to complete. Click here for more information.

How can I see and manage my data usage?

You can view your data threshold, usage and status in My Account. You will also receive text notifications at 85% of your data usage and again when you have consumed 100% of your high speed data allotment.

What add-ons will be available with the Unlimited Plans?

Almost all add-ons (e.g., $5 Todo Mexico Plus, International Connect, International Minute Packs, Phone Insurance, etc.) are available with the Unlimited Plans. You can add more high-speed data anytime at 1GB for $5/mo. and 2GB for $10/mo. Data pack compatibility varies by plan.

How do I access Mobile Hotspot?

Currently, the Mobile Hotspot feature is available only for select phones.

You can turn on the functionality by accessing your phone Settings. You can also check your phone's User Guide for specific details and more information.

    • If you’re on the $35/mo. Unlimited data, talk & text with 3GB of High-Speed Data plan, your hotspot data usage is drawn from your overall data bucket of 3GB high-speed data. All data usage is throttled after consumption of the 3G of high-speed data allotment. If you want more high-speed data for your own consumption or to use your mobile hotspot you can add more high-speed data anytime with 1GB for $5/mo. or 2GB for $10/mo.
  • Mobile Hotspot Usage:
    • Share your phone’s hotspot with other users;
    • Connect a device (such as a laptop or tablet) to the Internet either via Wi-Fi, or a physical connection (such as a USB cable), or an app that enables mobile hotspot service without the purchase of a hotspot plan (i.e., “tethering”);
    • Distribute and share media files (such as books, music and games) with others (i.e., peer-to-peer (P2P) networking technology); and/or
    • Connect to a Virtual Private Network (VPN).
  • If you are on the $50/mo. Unlimited plan, 12GB of high-speed data can be used toward hotspot allocation, but there is no option to buy more hotspot usage.
  • If you are on the $60/mo. Unlimited Plus plan, 30GB of high-speed data can be used toward hotspot allocation, but there is no option to buy more hotspot usage.

Can I change my $60 plan to the $35 plan?

At Boost Mobile, we strive to always offer the best plan that fits your needs. In order to continue providing our customers with extreme value on our service offers and device discounts, the downgrade policies vary by offer and may require service terms greater than 30 days. If you ported-in your phone number to Boost Mobile and chose to activate service on the $60 Boost Unlimited Plus plan, you cannot downgrade to the $35 plan within 60 days of activating your account. Only after 3 monthly payments (initial activation + 2 payments) have been completed within the first 60-day period, the downgrade restriction will be lifted.
