What is TIDAL?

TIDAL is an ad-free music streaming service built for fans by musical artists from around the world. Subscribers to the service enjoy exclusively curated content that directly connect artists with their fans in multiple ways. Tidal offers 2 levels of service. Tidal Premium delivers standard sound quality music. Tidal HiFi delivers high-fidelity, CD sound quality music. Both services also include high resolution video, an opportunity to discover new artists via TIDAL Discovery, and unique experiences via TIDAL X. TIDAL has a catalog of more than 42.5 million songs and nearly 140,000 high quality videos. You can stream TIDAL content via your eligible Boost Mobile Android or iOS phone, computer, and compatible TV via Internet connected streaming devices. The service is provided by our partner, TIDAL.

What is the TIDAL Exclusive Content?

TIDAL delivers exclusive content and experiences that no other service is currently able to deliver. With a TIDAL subscription through Sprint, customers receive a deeper exclusive experience with access to top name artists, singles, albums and videos, and access to tickets that others can’t get, and experiences that are developed exclusively for TIDAL members.

What is TIDAL X?

TIDAL X is a program that connects artists directly with fans by giving them a platform to engage with them in unique ways, including one-of-a-kind live shows, events, artist meet & greets, and concert tickets for TIDAL members to enjoy. With TIDAL’s commitment to help artists interact with their fans in new ways—the possibilities are endless for what we can offer fans. How does the 6 months of free TIDAL HiFi work?

Starting June 16, 2017, all Boost Mobile customers with a monthly plan and eligible device (Android 4.0 and above or iOS 8.0 and above) can subscribe to get 6 months of TIDAL HiFi for free. Current TIDAL subscribers are not eligible. You will get full access to the TIDAL HiFi service at no charge to customers (a $20/mo saving) for 6 months from the subscription date to the service. During that time, the cost of the service will be paid by Boost Mobile.

At the end of the 6-month period, your free subscription will end automatically. You will receive a reminder via text message 30 days and 2 days before your subscription is ending. If you wish to continue with your TIDAL service after the 6-month period, you will be able to subscribe to the $10 TIDAL Premium or $20 TIDAL HiFi add-on that will be available at that time.

Customers can unsubscribe at any time via My Account (web and smartphone), in store, by phone (Boost customer service), or within the TIDAL app. Customers that want to keep the Tidal HiFi service will be able to do so by subscribing to a separate $20 Tidal HiFi add-on that will be available at that time.

Is the TIDAL service available for all Boost Mobile plans and devices?

The free 6 Month TIDAL HiFi add-on is available to all Boost Mobile customers on a monthly plan and with an iOS (8.0 and above) or Android (4.0 and above) phone or tablet.

Is the 6 months of free TIDAL HiFi an add-on?

Yes, TIDAL HiFi is an add-on, free of charge, that you can subscribe to the same way as to any other add-on. After subscribing, you will receive a text message that will instruct you to download the TIDAL app and create an account to access the TIDAL service.

Can I access TIDAL on a computer?

Yes, if your computer has internet access and you have subscribed to TIDAL HiFi and created a TIDAL account, you can access TIDAL on a computer at tidal.com by logging in with your TIDAL user ID and password.

How much does TIDAL cost?

Starting June 16, 2017, TIDAL HiFi will be free of charge for 6 months from the subscription date.

What will happen at the end of the free 6-month period?

How do I subscribe to TIDAL?

If you are a new customer, you can subscribe during the activation process in-store or online at boostmobile.com. If you are an existing customer, you can add the monthly subscription online via My Account (web and smartphone), in store, or by phone.

After subscribing, you will receive a text message that will instruct you to download the TIDAL app and will direct you to a TIDAL page to create a TIDAL account which is necessary to access the TIDAL service. If you have already installed the TIDAL app on your phone, you can subscribe to any TIDAL add-on within the TIDAL app.

Will my TIDAL subscription renew automatically every month?

Yes, your subscription will renew every month for 6 months at no charge. After that, you will have the option to continue with the $10 TIDAL Premium add-on, or the $20 TIDAL HiFi add-on. In both cases, the subscription will renew automatically every month. You can also decide to unsubscribe from any TIDAL add-on at any time. You can unsubscribe via My Account (web and smartphone), in store, by phone (Boost customer service), or within the TIDAL app.

How do I unsubscribe from TIDAL?

You can unsubscribe from any TIDAL add-on the same way as for any other add-on, via My Account (web and smartphone), in store, or by phone (Boost customer service). You can also unsubscribe within the TIDAL app.

Does streaming TIDAL music and video use my Boost Mobile high speed data allotment?

You can listen to unlimited TIDAL music without using your plan’s monthly high-speed data allotment. However, watching TIDAL music videos will count against your high-speed data allotment.

What kind of video quality does TIDAL offer?

The video quality displayed with TIDAL depends on a variety of a factors; in most instances, it will be optimal when you are located in an area with good network coverage (visit boostmobile.com/coverage to check coverage) or, when you connect through a Wi-Fi signal. In most instances, the app launches within a few seconds and you can start watching video content. If you are not under these conditions, picture quality may be affected by a variety of factors such as your location, the bandwidth available through and/or speed of your Wi-Fi/Internet connection.

What happens when my high-speed data allotment is exhausted? Can I still continue listening to TIDAL music and watching TIDAL videos?

After your applicable monthly plan data allotment is reached, access to data continues but data speeds (including music and video) will be reduced to 2G speeds for the remainder of your plan cycle. Speeds will be restored at the beginning of your next monthly plan cycle. You will still be able to continue watching TIDAL via Wi-Fi without any limitations. You can upgrade your Boost Mobile plan to get a larger data allotment to continue watching TIDAL on the go.
