Information you give us:
The personal information we collect includes information you give us, such as name, postal address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, social security number or other government identification number, demographics, activities, location information, and personal preferences. You may give us information in a variety of ways, including when you sign up for or use Services, communicate with Customer Care or register for one of the Services. Third-party providers whose sites are featured on and accessed via our Services may collect information as well. Such collection and use of your information is governed by the third party's privacy policy.
If we have trouble processing your order, the contact information you provide is used to get in touch with you. We also use this contact information to provide you with updates regarding your current phone or service and to provide you with information about Boost Mobile promotions and special offers.
We may offer the opportunity to participate in contests, giveaways, or other similar promotions we sponsor. Except as explained otherwise in the rules for a particular contest, giveaway, or promotion, any personal information you provide will be used in accordance with this Notice.

For example, we often receive information from the retailer from whom you purchased your Boost Mobile phone or device prior to initiating service with us. We also may use demographic and marketing information from third parties to help us better serve you or inform you about products or services that we think will be of interest to you.
Children’s information:
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16. You should be aware that if you purchase a Boost device and allow a child under the age of 16 to use it, any information collected from the usage of that device will appear to be your personal information and treated as such under this Notice.
How long we keep your information:
We maintain personal information about you in our regular business records if you’re shopping for our Services and while you are a subscriber to any of our Services. We also maintain personal information about you for a period of time after you are no longer a subscriber to satisfy legal or tax requirements, for fraud prevention, or for business purposes.

The account holder for Group Accounts is the entity or person that buys the service or product for its employees, family members, or other authorized users. You (as the user of a device) may receive service, certain pricing, terms, or other benefits through a Group Account with us. If so, we may share with that Group Account holder customer registration and other information related to your use of our Services.
Other Third Parties With Your Consent:
We may share information with other third parties for purposes disclosed to you at the time of collection, as requested by you, or with your consent. For example, you may agree to our sharing of your information with other third parties to hear about their products and services, or when you sign up for a discount or reward program, including when you sign up for a service discount through the Boost Mobile Discount Program. Use of the information you agree to share will be subject to those third parties' separate privacy policies.
Disclosures to Third Party Applications and Services:
You may choose to use services and products offered by third party providers through our Services or devices such as third-party applications. When you leave our network, you may also use mobile roaming services provided by third parties. Your use of such services and applications may result in these third parties collecting your personal information and obtaining information from Boost, including location information. You may also choose to give personal information directly to third parties when using our Services. In each case, personal information that you give a third party will be subject to the third party’s own terms, conditions, and policies — not this Notice. Business Transfers:

When you use an authorized agent to submit a request for access or deletion, you must provide the authorized agent with written permission to do so, and, in certain circumstances, we may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf.
Notice of financial incentive:
We offer our customers a loyalty program that provides certain perks, such as rewards and exclusive offers. We may also provide other programs, such as sweepstakes, contest, or other similar promotional campaigns (collectively, the “Programs”). When you sign up for one of these Programs, we typically ask you to provide your name and contact information (such as email address and/or telephone number). Because our Programs involve the collection of personal information, they might be interpreted as a “financial incentive” program under California law. The value of your personal information to us is related to the value of the free or discounted products or services, or other benefits that you obtain or that are provided as part of the applicable Program, less the expense related to offering those products, services, and benefits to Program participants.
