Data Packs




What are Data Packs?

Data Packs provide you with additional high-speed data if you exhaust your plan data. They're available as one-time or recurring extras. One-time Data Packs expire 30 days after purchase or when you use all the extra data. They are separate from your monthly plan and are removed after 30 days. Recurring Data Packs become a part of your monthly payment and will automatically renew until you cancel.

If you need extra data, you can purchase a recurring data pack and/or a one-time data pack once each per billing cycle. You can purchase data packs in the BoostOne app, at your local Boost Mobile retailer, or by calling Boost Mobile Customer Care at 833-50-BOOST (833-502-6678). 

What Data Packs are available?

One Time Data Packs

One-time Data Packs expire 30 days after purchase or when the allotment is depleted. They are separate from your monthly plan and will be removed after 30 days.

  • 1GB of 5G/4G LTE Data - $5

  • 2GB of 5G/4G LTE Data - $10

  • 5GB of 5G/4G LTE Data - $15

  • 10GB of 5G/4G LTE Data - $30

Recurring Data Packs

Recurring Data Packs become a part of your monthly payment and will automatically renew until you cancel.

 

  • 1GB of 5G/4G LTE Data - $5/mo 

  • 2GB of 5G/4G LTE Data - $10/mo

  • 5GB of 5G/4G LTE Data - $15/mo

  • 10GB of 5G/4G LTE Data - $30/mo

 

How do I purchase a Data Pack? 

Login to your account at boostmobile.com. Scroll down to Data Usage to see a summary of your remaining data and the number of days left in your payment cycle. Click View All Usage for more detailed information or Add More Data to purchase a Data Pack.

Is the cost or GB of a Data Pack prorated?

No, the price and associated GB for a data pack isn’t prorated regardless of purchase date.

If I use all of my plan's high speed data and purchase a Data Pack, will my data return to high speed?

If your data speed has been reduced because you've used all of your high speed data, purchasing a Data Pack will return it to high speed for the duration of the Data Pack period (either the data amount purchased or the remainder of your payment cycle).

Can a Data Pack replenish my mobile hotspot data?

Data Packs replenish mobile hotspot data for plans that include hotspot data.

What's the difference between a One-Time Data Pack and a Recurring Data Pack?

One-Time Data Pack: This Data Pack does not recur monthly. The data amount is valid for 30 days from the purchase date.

Recurring Data Pack: This Data Pack recurs monthly. The extra data amount automatically renews on a monthly basis until you decide you no longer want it. The cost is added to your monthly payment.

How is my data used when I purchase a Data Pack?

Data packs are used first and once it is used up, your plan will default back to the monthly data left included in your plan. If you purchase data packs, the data allotment is used in the following order:

  • One-time Data Pack 
  • Recurring Data Pack
  • Plan data allotment

Can I pay for a One-Time Data Pack with my monthly payment?

No. One-Time Data Packs are purchased separately and begin when they are purchased. They remain on the account for 30 days, even if that time crosses into the following payment cycle.

If you wish to pay for a Data Pack with your monthly payment, you'll need to purchase a Recurring Data Pack. Recurring Data Packs will renew with your regular payment cycle and are part of your normal monthly payment.
