Domestic Roaming FAQ's

What is roaming?

Roaming service allows you to remain connected even when you are temporarily outside the Boost Mobile network by providing coverage on partner networks. Your Boost Mobile plan includes 50 minutes per month of domestic voice roaming at no additional cost.

Do I need to do anything to be able to roam on Boost Mobile?

No. As long as your device is capable of roaming, it'll happen automatically.

Can I call, text, and surf the web when I’m roaming?

Your Boost Mobile plan includes 50 domestic voice minutes while roaming each month and allows domestic (SMS) texting while roaming. International voice, SMS text and data roaming isn't provided.

What happens to my call if I’m roaming and I reach the 50th minute?

Roaming calls that are in progress will be allowed to complete even if they exceed the 50th minute.

Can I get more domestic roaming minutes?

No. When your plan refreshes, you will be given a new allocation of 50 domestic roaming minutes.

Can I disable domestic roaming?

Yes. You'll find an option in the device settings on your phone where you can disable roaming.
