What's included in Todo Mexico?

Todo Mexico allows you to use services while roaming in Mexico including receiving calls, making calls to destinations in Mexico and back to the US, and using the internet. Todo Mexico also gives you:

  • Unlimited calling to landlines and mobile phones in Mexico

  • Unlimited calling to landlines and mobile phones in the US and Mexico while roaming in Mexico

  • Unlimited calling to landlines and mobile phones in Canada (excludes Northern Territories – 867)

  • Unlimited SMS texting to 200+ countries

  • Unlimited SMS texting to Mexico and Canada

  • Unlimited SMS texting to the US and Mexico while roaming in Mexico

  • Up to 8GB* of data when in Mexico

What is Mexico roaming?

Mexico roaming means you're able to use services while roaming in Mexico including receiving calls, making calls to destinations in Mexico and back to the US, and using the Internet.

Is Todo Mexico available to all Boost Mobile customers?

Todo Mexico can be added as a recurring extra to any eligible Boost plan for $5/mo. The $60 Unlimited PLUS plan includes Todo Mexico at no additional cost.

How do I sign up for Todo Mexico?

Todo Mexico is available for any eligible Boost Mobile plan. You can add it to your plan or upgrade your plan online, through your local authorized dealer, or by contacting Boost Mobile Customer Care at 833-50-BOOST (833-502-6678).

How and when do I need to pay for the Extra?

Todo Mexico is an additional service that must be paid for when it’s added to your monthly plan. It can be added during your initial activation or at any time during your regular payment cycle. 

If you add Todo Mexico in the middle of your monthly plan, you’ll pay for it when you add it to your plan. It’ll automatically renew and be included as part of your normal monthly payment.

What countries can I call or text while roaming in Mexico?

You can make calls to the US and to destinations in Mexico. You can receive SMS messages and send SMS messages to the US and Mexico at no additional charge.

How will I know I’m roaming?

How will I know I’m roaming? Your device will indicate that you're not in your home network when you’re roaming. The symbol for roaming is the same for all devices: a capital R symbol next to the signal strength icon on the top of your device.

Who provides cellular coverage for Boost Mobile in Mexico?

Telefonica provides Boost Mobile roaming coverage in Mexico. 

How do I call the US from Mexico?

To call someone in the US while you're roaming in Mexico, dial +1 (XXX) XXX-XXXX.

How do I call or text a mobile number or landline in Mexico?

Effective August 3, 2020: You no longer need to put a 1 after the Mexico country code 52 to dial a mobile or landline number in Mexico. Your new dialing will be 011 + 52 + 10-digit number. 

Your call will not be completed if a 1 is included. Update your contacts by removing the 1 after the 52 country code.

If I'm in a US/Mexico border city will my device pick up both the Boost Mobile and Telefonica networks?

Your phone will try to operate on the network with the best signal. In some areas very close to the border it is possible that you’ll connect to the Telefonica network in Mexico while you're in the US.

If this occurs, your device home screen will display that it’s on Movistar to indicate the Telefonica network. If you’re in the US and this occurs, modify your settings to ensure you're operating on your preferred network. Even if you’re physically in the US, if you connect to the Telefonica network, this will use your Todo Mexico PLUS data allotment.

Can I call Emergency Services in Mexico?

Yes, you can call local Mexico Emergency Services (066) while traveling in Mexico. You'll receive emergency service in Spanish at your Mexico location. Emergency service calls will not incur any access fee or roaming charges.

What happens if I use all of my Mexico roaming data?

If you use your data allotment, you'll no longer be able to access the internet. Even if you run out of data during a visit to Mexico, you'll still be able to make calls and send SMS. If you require an additional roaming data allotment, call Boost Mobile Customer Care at 833-50-BOOST (833-502-6678).

Important facts about Todo Mexico

  • Primary usage must occur in the United States. Calls, texts or data roaming while in Mexico cannot exceed 50% of total usage over time or your service may be terminated.
  • Mexico roaming coverage and service is not available everywhere. 

  • Mexico roaming is only available on compatible LTE/GSM devices.

  • Data speeds are dependent on the Telefonica data network.
