I'm livid. I went in this store yesterday because my apps were randomly crashing for no reason all of a sudden. The older woman working there took my phone and was trying to soft reset it. After I told her several times she was doing it wrong (she was also on the phone asking someone to cash app her money) she handed it to me and I showed her how to do it. She then says ok it should be fixed. No ma'am. I've done that already, checked and made sure apps were updated, something else is wrong. So she asked me to write down my email and passwords...NO MA'AM. I'll give you my email but you are NOT getting my passwords. She tried arguing this with me. I asked what she was doing because I didn't want to lose any messages or photos. She said I wouldn't. She asks me if I'm sure I know my emails and passwords and I said yes, then without even asking or letting me know anything she factory reset my phone 🤬😭
It only got worse from there. She then spent over 45 minutes visibly shaking and sweating trying to recover my email. The wrong email at that. I told her several times that wasn't the right email. She did get into the wrong email and when nothing happened, like I knew, I took my phone and proceeded to leave as she yelled "F**K you, I was trying to help" When I turned and asked her if she just cursed me she said "Yea get the f**k out my store"
First off very unprofessional and rude. 2nd you didn't help AT ALL! She made things so much worse. Instead of admitting she screwed up and say she didn't know what to do, she just continued to screw up. All she kept saying she had "16 years experience" but what she couldn't do in an hour I did in my car in less than 2 minutes. Now I have to go higher up because I lost everything from the last 6 months. No I've never been in cell phone business but yes I know more than you about my phone. So please educate your employees so they can help customers better. And don't ever factory reset someone's phone without asking them or getting permission. You deleted the last 6 months of my life. Then cursed me out when I got upset cause you had no clue what you were doing. Hopefully you didn't do the same thing to the customer behind me with the same phone having the same issues. Also explain what software updates are to them. She told me "it couldn't be the update cause they only added good stuff" 🤦🏼♀️ I wish I never would of walked in this store.
You would think with your "16 years experience" you would know phones can mirror each other. She told me you couldn't keep messages. They all get deleted. (Mind you she said I wouldn't lose anything at first, but changed her mind when she realized what she had done) That's how I keep all my sons old messages (he's no longer with us) All this could have been avoided if you would have at least told me what you were gonna do or better yet asked the owner of the phone permission to completely swipe their phone clean. I could have mirrored everything to my old phone I had with me and not lost anything. This could have all been avoided had she known what she was doing.
