What is More GIGs 4G LTE data and how does it work?

More GIGs 4G LTE data is a recurring subscription add-on to your monthly plan that allows you to increase the amount of high-speed data you have access to each month. They are available for purchase by visiting My Account and the cost of the add-on will be added onto to your monthly Boost Mobile service plan.

What phones and plans are eligible for 4G LTE recurring data?

4G LTE recurring data is available for purchase on the $30/mo. Unlimited Starter, $35/mo. 3GB monthly plan and $30/mo. 3GB Family plan lines that are data enabled; and on all phones (excluding feature phones). Not available on the Unlimited or Unhook’d $50 plans.

What if I have a different Boost service plan?

If you have a plan other than the $30 Unlimited Starter or $35 3GB monthly plans, you cannot purchase a 4G LTE recurring data add on. Please visit this page for information on Data Packs for other Boost plans.

How do I add 4G LTE recurring data to my monthly plan?

You can add 4G LTE recurring data by visiting My Account. Please remember your account must have sufficient funds to cover the cost of the add-on service. They will attach to your monthly Boost Mobile service plan.

When I add 4G LTE recurring data, does my base plan data or the 4G LTE recurring data get used first?

The 4G LTE recurring data allotment will be used first and then default to the plan data allotment.

For example, if you are on a monthly plan that includes 3GB of data and you add 1GB of 4G LTE recurring data, the 1GB 4G LTE recurring data allotment is used first and then defaults to the 3GB of data included in the plan. You can only have one extra 4G LTE recurring data add-on active on your account.

Will I get messaged when I'm about to deplete my 4G LTE recurring data?

Yes, Boost Mobile will send you a text and or email message if you are approaching your data threshold.

What happens when I use up my 4G LTE recurring data?

If you still have high-speed data allotment left in your monthly plan, then the data usage will come out of the monthly plan high-speed data allotment until depleted or expires. After both high-speed allotments (monthly plan & 4G LTE recurring data) are depleted, you will still have data access, but at reduced speeds.

Is Mobile Hotspot included in the 4G LTE recurring data?

Mobile Hotspot can be used with the 4G LTE recurring data add-on if your plan includes Mobile Hotspot.

Can I combine 4G LTE recurring data with other add-ons or have multiple 4G LTE recurring data add-ons?

Yes, the 4G LTE recurring data add-on will work regardless of what other add-ons you have on your account. You can also combine the 1GB and 3GB 4G LTE recurring data add-ons for a total of 3GB of additional data. However, you cannot have two of the same 4G LTE recurring data add-ons on your account at the same time.
