What information do I need to activate my phone?

To activate your phone you will need to have your ESN number ready.

Can I get Boost service with a used (previously active) Boost Mobile or Sprint phone?

You may activate a previously used Boost Mobile CDMA Series phone but you will need to pay a $10 one-time reactivation fee in order to activate services.

You can only use select previously-used Sprint CDMA phones on a Boost account as part of our Activate a Sprint phone on Boost Mobile today program.

Do I have to pay to activate my phone?

There is no activation fee if you activate a new phone using the activation PIN number that comes inside every new phone box. If you don't have an activation PIN number, then a $10 one-time reactivation charge will apply.

Certified Pre-Owned phones will be subject to our standard $10 one-time reactivation charge at the time of activation but will receive a $10 account credit to offset that charge.

Are there special instructions for activating a Boost Mobile phone that has been purchased from a friend or private party?

We cannot guarantee or promise your phone can be activated or function unless it was purchased through an authorized retailer. To find a Boost Mobile store or authorized retailer near you, use the Store Locator.
