Tell us about your device

Choose your new phone, select the trade-in option, enter your current phone's IMEI, and answer a few questions about its condition to get an offer.

Clear your data

Be sure to back up your content, sign out of iCloud (iOS), and factory reset your device before sending it to us.

Mail your device

We’ll send you a trade-in kit. Be sure to mail your old device to us in the smaller box included in the kit within 30 days.

4

Receive credit

We’ll apply the credit to your Boost account once we receive and inspect your device. Use it to cover your monthly service costs.

We’ll use your phone’s IMEI number and current condition to determine if your device is eligible for trade-in. Based on your answers, we’ll provide an estimate of your trade-in value. After you send us your phone, we’ll send you a final trade-in value after validating its current condition.

Yes. As long as you are not currently financing your Boost Mobile phone and haven't received a special device discount in the last nine months, you can trade in your current device.

You can trade in one device for each new phone you purchase.

If you decide you don’t want to accept the estimated offer, you can remove the trade-in from your cart at any time before completing your purchase. Once your phone is sent in, the trade-in is final.

No, your trade-in value will be adjusted based on its condition. We will reject a trade-in if the device does not turn on, or if Find My iPhone and/or Activation Lock are active. Additionally, your trade-in credit may be reduced if the phone's condition is worse than you initially described.
