Monthly Unlimited with Growing Data Plans

Boost Mobile's Monthly Unlimited Plans with Growing Data rewards customers by giving 500MB of extra high-speed data after every 3 on-time payments, up to a total of 3GB. All of these plans include Unlimited Talk, Text and Data. Starting 1/26/16, Boost is adding even more into our rate plans, at no extra cost! All monthly Unlimited Plans now also include:

  • Mobile hotspot (learn more)
  • Unlimited streaming music without data charges (see current music partners here)
  • off your monthly rate plan for customers after enrolling in Auto Re-BoostSM (learn more)
  • AND free incoming domestic voice calls and texts for up to 2 months if you are not able to pay (learn more)

Once a plan's applicable high-speed monthly data allotment is reached, speeds are reduced to 2G speeds for the remainder of the plan cycle (on all but the /mo Unlimited Plan

What is the $60 unlimited 4G LTE plan?

Boost's $60/mo is an unlimited offering that includes unlimited high-speed data, talk and text ... and as of 1/26/16, this plan also includes up to 8GB hotspot usage, unlimited streaming music without data charges (see current partners here), and the benefit of $5 off for all customers who pay o Re-BoostSM (learn more) and free incoming domestic voice calls and texts for up to 2 months if you are not able to pay (learn more)!

How does Monthly Unlimited with Growing Data work?

First, select and activate on one of the qualifying Growing Data plans ( or Growing Data plan). For customers who are new to Boost, select one of our Monthly Unlimited Plans with Growing Data during activation. If you are an existing customer on one of our other Boost Monthly plans, you will have to change plans in My Account.

After you make 3 on-time monthly payments, we will automatically increase your high-speed data allotment by giving you an additional 500MB of high-speed data during the next month, up to a total of extra 3GB. It's our way of rewarding customers for simply being Boost customers and staying Boost customers.

What happens to my next data increase if I pay after my monthly payment date?

There is no penalty for late payments. You will keep all of the Growing Data rewards you have previously earned and your next on-time payment will continue your progress towards the next data increase milestone.

What features are included in the Growing Data plans?

The growing data plan allows you to earn extra data for paying on-time. It also includes unlimited domestic talk, text (including text, picture and video messaging), and data (at applicable 3G/4G high-speed data allotment). New as of 1/26/16, these plans also include up to 8GB hotspot usage, unlimited streaming music without data charges (see current partners here), the benefit of $5 off for all customers who pay with Auto Re-BoostSM (learn more), and free incoming domestic voice calls and texts for up to 2 months if you are not able to pay (learn more)! All Boost plans are on the Nationwide Sprint® network. In addition Boost Mobile monthly plans include Call Waiting, Voicemail and 3-Way Calling. Additional services for International calling, and Data Packs, Boost TV and others are available for purchase (additional service availability may be dependent on plan and/or phone type).

Is there any extra benefit for signing up for Auto Re-BoostSM w/the Growing Data plans?

Yes, all customers on our current Growing Data and $60 Unlimited plans who sign up for Auto Re-BoostSM will receive a $5 monthly discount.

What is Auto Re-BoostSM?

Once you've registered a credit/debit card on your Boost account, you can set up automatic payments. It's called Auto Re-BoostSM and it's the easiest way for you to keep your service active. Now you can enroll in Auto Re-BoostSM on all of our current rate plans and you will receive a $5 off discount every month.

When do I receive my extra data?

After your 3rd on-time payment, your next month's plan data allotment will increase by 500MB each month until you make the next 3 on-time payments, where we will increase your plans' data allotment one more time with an additional 500MB, up to a total of 3GB and 18 total on-time payments. We will send you a free text message when we increase your monthly data allotment so you know but no action is needed on your part.

I'm already on a current plan and have made a number of on-time payments already. Can they count toward the Growing Data plans?

In order to receive the benefits of the Growing Data Plans, you will need to be enrolled in one of the Growing Data Plans.

Are other Boost promotions or benefits I'm enrolled in or earned continue if I switch to a Growing Data plan?

Not every Boost promotion or other special benefit are eligible with Growing Data Plans. When you enroll in one of the Growing Data Plans the counter toward your increase in high-speed data starts on the date you start that plan.

If I switch phones, will I keep the Data I've earned on my Growing Data plans?

Yes, if you upgrade your phone you can still continue to take advantage of the growing data benefits.

If I switch from one Growing Data plan to another, will I keep the data I've earned on my Boost Unlimited Plans with Growing Data?

If you want to change from a $35 plan to a $45 plan, you will retain your data benefits. However, if you change from a $45 plan to a $35 plan, you will lose any data rewards you have accumulated while on your $45 plan and the Growing data counter will start over when you select the $35/mo. plan.

When is my monthly payment date?

Your monthly payment date is the same day of the month you made your first monthly payment. For example, if you paid your first month of service on February 15, then your monthly payment date is the 15th every month (March 15, April 15, etc.) and remains the same as long as you successfully make your monthly payment, on-time, every month.

If your monthly payment date is the 28th, 29th, 30th or 31st of a month then it will always be the same day or the last day of the month.

Can I change my monthly payment date?

No, your monthly payment date remains the same every month as long as you successfully make your monthly payment on-time.

What happens if I miss my monthly payment?

We've got your back here! If you miss a payment, we will allow you to receive free domestic calls and SMS (text messages) for 60 days from your last payment due date. Your account cannot be cancelled and you must have paid for at least one month of service in order to receive the free calls and texts. Until you pay for your service, you will not be able to make any outbound calls, texts or use data services. (Learn more here). Your outbound service will be interrupted until you add enough money to your account to cover your monthly payment amount. Once service is restored, your monthly payment date will change to one day prior to the date that service was restored (e.g., if your service is restored on February 15th, your monthly payment date will be reset to March 14th). Restoring service at the end of or on the first of the month (i.e., 30th, 31st or 1st) will result in varied payment dates contingent on the last calendar day of the month.

You have 60 days to resume service by paying your monthly payment in full or your account will be cancelled and you will lose all funds in your account balance and your phone number.

What happens if my account balance goes to $0 before my next payment is due?

If your account balance reaches zero, but you've already paid your monthly payment amount, you will still be able to use all the unlimited services included in your plan for the remainder of your monthly plan cycle. However, you will not be able to purchase or use additional services (e.g., international calls). Please add extra money to your account to pay for these additional services.

What happens when my data speeds are reduced?

After your applicable monthly plan data allotment is reached, access to data continues but data speeds will be reduced to 2G speeds for remainder of your plan cycle. Speeds will be restored at the beginning of your next monthly plan cycle.

What happens if my data speeds are still reduced and I want another high-speed data allotment?

You have options. You can:

  • Wait until your next monthly payment date to get your high-speed data allotment renewed.
  • Purchase a Data Pack to add extra high-speed data to monthly plan. Learn more about Data Packs or visiile. My Account to purchase.
  • Use the Restart Plan option and make your full monthly payment early to re-enable all your services immediately. Visit My Account to complete.

How can I see and manage my data usage?

You can view your data threshold, usage and status in My Account. You will also receive notifications as you get closer to your included data allotment.

What add-ons will be available with the Unlimited Plans with Growing Data?

Almost all add-ons (e.g., International Connect, International Minute Packs, Phone Insurance, etc.) are available with Unlimited Plans with Growing Data. The $5 Todo Mexico Plus add-on is available on the Growing Data Plans. Also, the $5/ $10 Data Packs are available on the $35/ $45 Unlimited Plans with Growing Data only.

I enrolled in the $35/$45 Growing Data Plans or the $60 Unlimited plans before 3/3/16. How can I get the benefit of the free domestic voice roaming feature?

To take advantage of the roaming benefit, you can simply change plans to the same price point plan to get this feature. Visit My Account, Select ‘Change My Plan or Add-On’ and ‘With Next Change’ to get this feature when your new plan month begins. If you want this feature now, choose ‘Now’. If you choose this option, your monthly plan payment will be due immediately and your bill cycle will change.
